The connection between safe, affordable, quality housing and our overall health should not be underestimated. Research shows how the production and rehabilitation of affordable housing leading to improved health outcomes and support living skills. Communities, payers, hospitals, tech industry and others are partnering in novel ways, such as assisting families in freeing up resources to purchase healthy food and healthcare expenditures, providing residential stability for individuals with HIV, and working to solve addiction or disabling chronic health problems.
