Racial Roots: Planting Community Solutions

Racial and ethnic minorities are less likely than members of the majority population to receive preventive health services – even among insured populations. Implicit bias, housing zip code and countless other factors play a larger role than many are willing to admit. While many organizations nationwide are actively tackling issues like maternal morbidity, education and housing, this session will address the significant community gaps that prevent residents from living healthier lives.
