Reimagining Sustenance: Food Equality for All

While most agree that access to fresh food is a human right, how do you turn a belief into reality? Technology will continue to play an increasingly critical role in how the food we eat is produced, packaged, how it is delivered, how it tastes, feels/smells and how it is reused and repurposed. Investments in health and food tech will continue to increase to help deliver on the promise of healthier, more sustainable food systems for our communities. How do you bring a grocery store to a food desert? And once there, how do you ensure that it carries affordable and culturally sensitive products in an area with changing demographics? How do you make this business case to potential grocery operators? This session will explore the various points of view that drive food access and food equity.[br /][br /] [a href=”https://schedule.sxsw.com/2020/events/PP106557″ target=”_blank”]Find more information about this event here[/a]
